Simple and Elegant Suite for a Tennessee Wedding
In January we had the pleasure of designing this simple yet elegant suite for Mackenzie & Jordan's upcoming destination wedding in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. The bride wanted to incorporate a laurel watercolor greenery with ivory rose buds + bits of elegant calligraphy.
I shot a few photos as we were boxing up all the pieces and wanted to share a few here! More details below on the individual pieces for this suite.
Included in this suite:
- Fully-custom invitation design with watercolor greenery and florals. For the text we mixed bits of hand-lettered calligraphy with our signature serif font. The bride knew she wanted a textured look, so we went with a felted watercolor card stock. We paired the invitation with an accommodations card which featured more hand-lettered calligraphy and bits of watercolor greenery. We included tissue overlays to protect the invitation once they were mailed out.
- Each envelope was hand addressed in black calligraphy for both the guest address and return address. We used our standard layout where the names were the focus and the address was block printed.
